Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be picked up at the airport and transferred to the hotel in Hanoi for check in. Dinner and stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, start your city tour with the Temple of Literature – Vietnam's first university established in 1076, the Hanoi Old Citadel and the Museum of Ethnology. After lunch, you will take a visit to Military Museum, the West Lake, Long Bien Bridge then move on to visit the famous Hanoi Old Quarter, the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. You’ll have time to experience Vietnamese coffee for a break and talk to local people. Then you’ll enjoy the Vietnamese traditional water puppet show. Dinner and stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out of the hotel at 8.00am and move to Halong city. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed aboard a junk with a complimentary drink and check in your cabin. A seafood lunch will be served and cruise on Halong Bay to visit the famous karsts including Mat Qui (Monsters' face) islet, But Moc islet, and Cap De islet, as well as Trong (Drum) and Trinh Nu caves and a floating fishing village for insight into a unique way of life. Explore Luon cave with plenty of time for swimming and sun bathing. Enjoy a beautiful sunset dinner and relax under the starlit sky before retiring to the comfort of your cabin. Stay overnight on board in the Bay.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Hue (B/L)
Early risers can enjoy a serene morning view of Halong Bay's landscapes with a cup of tea or coffee and fresh fruit. From the upper deck of the junk you will be amazed at the breathtaking beauty of the rocky islands rising up from the crystal-clear water. Explore the Sung Sot (Amazing) cave for an hour, then swim and relax at Titop beach before cruising back to the mainland at 9.30am while enjoying a brunch buffet from 10.30am to 11.30am. Disembark the harbor around noon time and drive directly to the airport for the flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue you will be transferred to hotel for check in. Stay overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue City tour (B)
After breakfast, you will take a boat trip up along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda. Then travel by coach to visit Imperial Citadel where Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945 with numerous of attractive places to see like Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City. Stay overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue – Danang – Hoian (B/L)
After breakfast, check out and move to Hoian. You will have chance to visit Lang Co Beach at Hai Van Pass. You may enjoy a swim at Lang Co Beach. On the way to Hoian, you will visit Cham Museum in Danang. Check in hotel upon arrival. Free at your leisure to explore Hoian. Stay overnight in Hoian.
Day 7: Hoian (B)
After breakfast, start your walking tour of Hoian – a World Heritage site to discover the ancient town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoian local market, Tan Ky old house, Chinese Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge. Travelers can also see local residents raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoian's burgeoning textile industry. Stay overnight in Hoian.
Day 8: Hoian – Danang – Flight to Saigon (B)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Danang airport for flight to Saigon. You will be transferred to visit the Reunification Palace, the former Independence Palace, the Post Office, the Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral and the War Museum. You will also visit the Jade Emperor Temple, one of the oldest Chinese temples in Saigon, Ben Thanh market where all kind of goods are offered. Stay overnight in Saigon.
Day 9: Saigon – My Tho – Can Tho (B/L)
After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and head south to Cai Be floating market. Upon arrival, you will get on board a boat for a journey through the town’s floating market. Cruise through a secluded canal and over the Mighty Mekong to island where you will stop to enjoy seasonal fruits before getting to Vinh Long where you get back on the coach for the trip to Can Tho – the heart of Mekong Delta. Stay overnight in Can tho.
Day 10: Phong Dien – Cai Rang – Saigon (B/L)
Start up early for a boat trip to Phong Dien floating market, then come a long distance cruise and walk on a quiet country road to take in the magnificent scenery and get close to the locals as they go about their daily activities. Take lunch on the way back to Saigon. Stay overnight in Saigon.
Day 11: Cu Chi Tunnels – Saigon City Tour (B/L)
After breakfast, you will drive to the extraordinary Cu Chi tunnels. During the US War in Vietnam, Viet Cong guerrillas built the labyrinth of narrow tunnels virtually underneath U.S. bases, using them to hide during bombing raids and to stage surprised attacks. On the way, you have chance to see rural people live and work, view occupations such as cashew nut farming, duck breeding, rice farming and production of rice paper, a key ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine. Then drive back to Saigon. In the afternoon, you will take a city tour to visit the former Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Post Office, and a stop at lacquer-ware workplace before heading to Chinatown and Binh Tay market. Stay overnight in Saigon.
Day 12: Saigon Departure (B)
Free at your own leisure until transferred to airport for flight back home sweet home.
