NORTH – CENTRAL HERITAGE (9 Days / 8 Nights)

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Arrive at Hanoi Airport in Hanoi. Transfer to hotel for check in. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, start your city tour with the Temple of Literature – Vietnam's first university established in 1076, the Hanoi Old Citadel – a World Cultural Heritage and the Museum of Ethnology. After lunch, you will take a visit to Military Museum, the West Lake, Long Bien Bridge then move on to visit the famous Hanoi Old Quarter, the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. You’ll have time to experience Vietnamese coffee for a break and talk to local people. Then you’ll enjoy the Vietnamese traditional water puppet show. Dinner and stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out of the hotel at 8.00am and move to Halong city. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed aboard a junk with a complimentary drink and check in your cabin for a visit to Halong Bay – a World Natural Heritage site. A seafood lunch will be served and cruise on Halong Bay to visit the famous karsts including Mat Qui (Monsters' face) islet, But Moc islet, and Cap De islet, as well as Trong (Drum) and Trinh Nu caves and a floating fishing village for insight into a unique way of life. Explore Luon cave with plenty of time for swimming and sun bathing. Enjoy a beautiful sunset dinner and relax under the starlit sky before retiring to the comfort of your cabin. Stay overnight on board in the Bay.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Night Train to Dong Hoi (B/L/D)
Early risers can enjoy a morning view of Halong Bay's landscapes with a cup of tea or coffee and fresh fruit. From the upper deck of the junk you will be amazed at the breathtaking beauty of the rocky islands rising up from the crystal-clear water. Explore the Sung Sot (Amazing) cave for an hour, then swim and relax at Titop beach before cruising back to the mainland at 9.30am while enjoying a brunch buffet from 10.30am to 11.30am. Disembark the harbor around noon then drive back to Hanoi. You are free until transferred to the railway station for a night train to Dong Hoi. Stay overnight on train.
Day 5: Dong Hoi – Phong Nha Cave – Hue (B/L)
Upon early arrival in Dong Hoi, you’ll take breakfast before transferred to visit Phong Nha Cave – a World Cultural Heritage. Take a boat cruising on Son River to visit Phong Nha Grottos: Bi Ki Cave, Fairy Grotto, and Royal Grotto with many colorful stalagmites and stalactites in every size reflecting the light. After lunch, drive to Hue. Take a stopover to visit Phuoc Tich ancient ceramics village. Check in hotel upon arrival in Hue. Stay overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue City Tour (B/L)
Take a visit to Thien Mu Pagoda and the Imperial Citadel – a World Cultural Heritage including Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace and Forbidden Purple City. In the afternoon, visit the Tomb of King Ming Mang, King Khai Dinh & Dong Ba Market. Stay overnight in Hue.
Day 7: Hue – Danang – Hoian (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the ancient town of Hoian – a World Cultural Heritage, stopping at Lang Co Beach, the Cham Museum and Marble Mountain. Check in hotel upon arrival. Late afternoon, you will take a walking tour of Hoian, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries, and enjoy the traditional architecture and relaxed lifestyle. Visit the centuries-old homes of merchants, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful and bustling market etc. Evening is free for you to explore the town. Stay overnight in Hoian.
Day 8: Hoian – My Son Sanctuary (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will move to visit My Son to explore the World Cultural Heritage of the Cham people. You may enjoy the traditional dance performance there. Move back to Hoian. In the afternoon, you will be free at your leisure to visit and explore the ancient town. Stay overnight in Hoian.
Day 9: Hoian – Danang – Departure (B)
After breakfast, you will be free until transferred to Danang airport for your departure flight.
