Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D)
You will be picked up at Noi Bai International Airport by our tour guide and transferred to Hanoi for hotel check in. Dinner and stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B/L/D)
After breakfast at the hotel, start your city tour with the Temple of Literature – Vietnam's first university established in 1076, the Hanoi Old Citadel – a World Cultural Heritage and the Museum of Ethnology. After lunch, you will take a visit to Military Museum, the West Lake, Long Bien Bridge then move on to visit the famous Hanoi Old Quarter, the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. You’ll have time to experience Vietnamese coffee for a break and talk to local people. Then you’ll enjoy the Vietnamese traditional water puppet show. Dinner and stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Halong. Check in on board the cruise upon arrival to take a boat trip to Halong Bay – a World Natural Heritage Site to visit Thien Cung Grotto, Dau Go Cave, Ga Troi Islet etc. Lunch with seafood will be served on board. After disembarkation, you will return to Hanoi. Stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi – Dong Hoi (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave Hanoi for Dong Hoi - a city in north central Vietnam. Lunch will be at a restaurant. Upon arrival in Dong Hoi, check in hotel. Stay overnight in Dong Hoi.
Day 5: Dong Hoi – Phong Nha Cave – Hue (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have chance to visit Phong Nha Grotto - a World Natural Heritage with surprising sceneries. After lunch, you will move to Hue. On the way, you can visit the former border front (the 17th parallel) between North and South Vietnam before 1975. Upon arrival in Hue, check in hotel. Free in the evening. Stay overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue – Danang – Hoian (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the seven-story Thien Mu pagoda by Huong River, the Imperial Citadel – a World Natural Heritage, the elaborate tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh and Tu Duc. Stop on the way at local families to learn how Vietnam’s famous traditional conical hats (also called “poem hat”) and colourful incense sticks are made. After lunch, you will leave Hue for Hoian. You will visit Cham Museum and Marble Mountains in Danang. Upon arrival, you will check in hotel. Stay overnight in Hoian.
Day 7: Hoian – My Son – Hoian (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit My Son (The World Cultural Heritage) - the Holy Land of Cham people lying in a wooded valley near Laos’ border. Then drive back to Hoian. In the afternoon you will take a walking tour to visit the ancient town (The World Cultural Heritage), the ancient merchants’ houses, Hokkien temple, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. After dinner, you will be free to explore the old town by night. Stay overnight in Hoian.
Day 8: Hoian – Qui Nhon (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave Hoian for Qui Nhon. Lunch will be in Quang Ngai. Upon arrival in Qui Nhon, check in hotel. Stay overnight in Qui Nhon.
Day 9: Qui Nhon – Nha Trang (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, you can enjoy the beach before take a tour of this city. Then move to Nha Trang. Upon arrival, check in hotel. Free to explore Nha Trang by night. Stay overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 10: Nha Trang (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will move to the harbour for a boat cruise to Nha Trang bay then back to Nha Trang to visit the Oceanic Museum. After lunch you will take a city tour of Nha Trang, Dam Market, the Ponagar Tower and hot spring bathing. Stay overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 11: Nha Trang – Dalat (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave Nha Trang for Dalat. You will be surprised with beautiful sceneries along the way up the mountains to the highlands. You will visit the Summer Palace of Emperor Bao Dai, the last King in Vietnam, Xuan Huong Lake, and drop by Dalat Market to see a variety of flowers and vegetables native to the region. Evening is free for you to explore the highland city at night. Stay overnight in Da Lat.
Day 12: Dalat – Saigon (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will leave Dalat for Saigon. Some stops for you on the way to visit Prenn and Dambri Waterfalls, the “float fishing villages” at La Nga, the rubber, tea and coffee plantations. Take a visit to a traditional fabric cloth-making business on the way. Upon arrival in Saigon, check in hotel. Stay overnight in Saigon.
Day 13: Saigon – Cu Chi – Saigon City Tour (B/L)
Drive to the extraordinary Cu Chi tunnels after breakfast. During the US War in Vietnam, Viet Cong guerrillas built the labyrinth of narrow tunnels virtually underneath U.S. bases, using them to hide during bombing raids and to stage surprise attacks. On the way, you have chance to see rural people live and work, view occupations such as cashew nut farming, duck breeding, rice farming and production of rice paper, a key ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine, then drive back to Saigon for lunch. Half-day city tour in the afternoon includes visits to the former Presidential Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Post Office and stop at lacquer-ware workplace before heading to Chinatown and Binh Tay market. Stay overnight in Saigon.
Day 14: Saigon – Mekong – Saigon (B/L)
Drive to My Tho in the Mekong Delta after breakfast. After visiting Vinh Trang pagoda, take a boat cruise along the river to visit a fishing port, and a nearby orchard where guests can sample the succulent fruits of the Mekong Delta. Continue boating to Thoi Son Island to glimpse local village life. See how residents make rice wine, coconut candies and honey. Change from boats to smaller sampans to ply the narrow, tree-lined canals. Then you will take a larger boat for returning to My Tho, and then to Saigon in the late afternoon. Stay overnight in Saigon.
Day 15: Saigon Departure (B)
After breakfast, leisure until transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for flight back home sweet home.
