Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (D)
Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be picked up at Noi Bai International Airport and transferred to the hotel for check in. Dinner and stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (B/L)
After breakfast at the hotel, start your city tour with the Temple of Literature – Vietnam's first university established in 1076, the Hanoi Old Citadel and the Museum of Ethnology. After lunch, you will take a visit to Military Museum, the West Lake, Long Bien Bridge then move on to visit the famous Hanoi Old Quarter, the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. You’ll have time to experience Vietnamese coffee for a break and talk to local people. Then you’ll enjoy the Vietnamese traditional water puppet show. Dinner and stay overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Dong Hoi (B/L)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. You’ll be transferred to Dong Hoi. Lunch will be at a local restaurant on the way. Check in hotel upon arrival. Stay overnight in Dong Hoi.
Day 4: Dong Hoi – DMZ – Khe Sanh – Hue (B/L)
After breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to visit Hien Luong Bridge, crosses the Ben Hai River at the middle of the DMZ which marked the former border between North and South Vietnam from 1954 to 1972 where exist Museum, Ben Hai River, the 17th Parallel. Vinh Moc tunnels – a network of tunnels built by villagers seeking shelter from bombings during the US War in Vietnam, and here is the place where an entire village lived for two and a half years. Visiting these tunnels, you can see and admire the specialty of Vietnamese people in the war, in this complex grew to including wells, kitchens, and rooms for each family and spaces for healthcare. After lunch, you will go on your trip on Ho Chi Minh trail for visiting Dakrong Bridge, the starting point of Highway 15, one of the main branches of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, which leads south to the A Shau valley and the famous “Hamburger Hill”, across over Thach Han River. Ho Chi Minh Trail is very famous during the US war in Vietnam, so you can admire the green and imposing of forest along this trail. This is an opportunity for you to meet the ethnic people in the highlight of Central Vietnam like Ka Tu, Van Kieu, Paco in their villages to know about their customs and ways of living. Then go around visiting Khe Sanh combat base – one of the most famous sieges of American Vietnamese War, and was the site of a US Army base that fell under attack in early 1968. You will see the remains of the old US airfield. Enter to the museum of Ta Con airport to see the things in nature of the fierce war, and how hard Quang Tri people fought against the US. Reach to the Rock pile described as 230 high-piles of rocks, an observation point of US Troops in the pass. Coming to this place, tourists would see a vast mountain standing on an unequaled position. Move on to Hue. Check in hotel upon arrival. Stay overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue – Danang (B/L)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. You’ll be transferred to Danang City where you will visit the intriguing Cham museum, former US Consulate, War Museum. In the afternoon, you’ll visit Nuoc Man heliport, Marble Mountain, My Khe beach. Check in hotel and stay overnight in Danang.
Day 6: Danang – Qui Nhon (B/L)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel. You’ll be transferred to Qui Nhon City where used to be the Military Base of South Korean Troop during the US War in Vietnam. Take a visit of the city. Check in hotel and stay overnight in Qui Nhon.
Day 7: Qui Nhon – Phan Rang (B/L)
After breakfast, you’ll check out of the hotel and take a city tour before moving to Phan Rang. Lunch will be at a local restaurant in Tuy Hoa. After lunch, you’ll take a city tour of Tuy Hoa then move on to Phan Rang. Check in hotel upon arrival. Stay overnight in Phan Rang.
Day 8: Phan Rang – Saigon (B)
You’ll be free whole morning until check out at noon-time and transferred to Saigon. Check in hotel and stay overnight in Saigon.
Day 9: Saigon – Vung Tau (B/L)
After breakfast, you’ll start traveling to Vung Tau – home of the Australian Task Force during the US War in Vietnam. After touring the city and Back Beach, a specialist local guide will guide you to visit Nui Dat. You’ll have time to climb SAS Hill and view the areas of former Australian operations before moving to the site of the Long Tan Cross.
After lunch, you’ll visit Long Phuoc tunnels and have an opportunity to talk to the local people about their memories and experiences living in this area during the battles. Late afternoon, return to Saigon. Stay overnight in Saigon.
Day 10: Saigon – Cu Chi Tunnel (B/L)
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to visit Cu Chi Tunnels. You will have a chance to get the unique experience of guerillas living and fighting underground during the war (a crawls through 50-100m out 200km of the tunnel system is unforgettable). Local rice paper workshops, nice paddy field are pleasant sights on the way. Return to Saigon for lunch. Afternoon is free at your own leisure. Stay overnight in Saigon.
Day 11: Saigon Departure (B)
You are free at your own leisure until transferred to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your flight back home sweet home.
